Introducing - Bead Pins!

We have been exploring ideas for complimentary products for Crochet By Kim.
At Paperific in Melbourne recently ScrapApple were selling our bead pins for us and the release was a huge success.  I have great pleasure in introducing the new pins. The pins are all hand-made with quality jewellery findings and almost no two are alike (unless requested).  Pins are 7cm long and quite versatile. I will post an example below.  You can stick them into you projects (layouts and OTP) or curl the ends, faux stitch with them, use them as flower centres....

New Product!!!!! Banners (Bunting)

Hello again bloggers!

I would like to introduce our brand new product - Banners!!!

They come in two sizes;

*  13 inches of scallops or triangles, only $2.50 each - perfect for your layouts, or

*  7 inches - also in scallops or triangles, only $1.50 each - great for cards and Off the Page projects.

Currently we have stock of white and bone in all sizes, but if you'd like a coloured banner - just ask!

I have used the 7 inch banner in bone on the following project - along with a double bubble - and cut 3 of the scallops off to use further below - great thing is, it didn't unravel before I had a chance to hot glue gun it in place!!

You can just see a bone 5 petal flower on the bottom right as well, looks great tucked in there!

And the outside - just so you get the complete picture!  :-)

There is another 5 petal flower on the side where the winder is - AND it plays Happy Birthday!

Sample Work

I have a few more samples to show you...

For this star card I used White Double Bubbles with glitter covered brads in the centre.

For this romantic card I used a Bone Wagon wheel as a base to work up from.

On this small table from Twiddleybitz - I made it into a tealight holder - layering White Single Bubbles on Black and Silver Single Bubbles, with diamond brads for centres..

Single Bubble Card - Black & Silver

This card I embellished using the gorgeous silver and black Single Bubble.  These are only 75c each!!!!  

This one is slightly bigger than the others as it is a courser thread.  I like this larger size, it was perfect for the old Making Memories heart charm for the centre!  I used more Alison Ellis Design papers, and The MFT Dienamics label die, and added just a smidgen of Green Tara Ribbon.

Mel Forbes Uses CBK!!!

OMG how exciting - I recently sent quite a few single and double bubbles in white and bone to Mel Forbes for a class at the Claremont Showgrounds for Twiddleybitz - True Blue Craft Show.  Here are the details - I am so excited as Mel is a fantastic Scrapper and I am honoured she likes CBK!

Five Petal Flowers Card

I made this card tonight using Alison Ellis Design Paper and some My Favourite Things Dienamics, and of course the lovely
Bone Five Petal Flower.  These are only $1.00 each!!!
I used a black and gold bow for the centre to help 'tie it together' (pardon the pun!!!).

I love how effective this is!
